Welcome to Black River Ambulance Squad Inc.

The Black River Ambulance Squad Inc. was founded in 1975, in the small village of Black River New York, by four gentleman in the community who felt the need was there to bring a local ambulance service to the area. 

Today The Black River Ambulance Squad Inc. answers approximately 600 calls, and holds contracts with the Village of Black River, The Town of LeRay, and the Town of Rutland, and provides mutual aid service to our surrounding communities. 

The Black River Ambulance Squad maintains a roster of approximately 40 members, and staffs 3 Paramedic Advanced Life Support Ambulances.
